Thomas P. O’Donnell
Thomas P. O’Donnell was born on January 26, 1959 in an emergency delivery in Camden at the base of the Ben Franklin bridge on the way to Misericordia Hospital. He died September 13, 2020 at peace after a valiant battle with glioblastoma multiforme. He was the loving son of the late John J. and the late Catherine C. O’Donnell of Blue Bell. Tom graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School, Class of 1977. He was employed for 27 years at the Morabito Baking Company and was a member of the Bakery, Confectionery and Tobacco Workers International Union. He will be dearly missed by his 10 siblings: John J. Jr. (Joyce), Joanne M. Pearson (Blake), Peg Mc Cuen (Len), Richard D. (Joanne), Mary O. Waring (Craig), Michael F., Robert P., Paul J. (Linda), Stephen M. (Clarissa), and Kevin T. (Tammy). Predeceased by his brother, James M. O’Donnell. Proud uncle of Brianna, Arleigh, John, Jason, Colin, Bridget, Gavin, Mark (Monique), Maria, Siobhan, Erin (Kevin), Kyle (Olyvia), Lauren, Dana, Kristen, Patrick, Ian, George, Rachel (Shaan), and Adam (Kirsten). He was delighted to be great uncle to Adelaide Catherine. He is also survived by his loving aunt, Patricia Heaney and many loving cousins. He leaves behind his longtime co-workers from Morabito Baking Company, his volleyball and trivia friends who were such an important part of his life and family friend, Phil Giroux. Our family is most grateful for the loving care of the doctors and nurses at Fox Chase Cancer Center and the kind and dedicated nurses and aides at Keystone Care Home. We would like to thank you for your thoughts and prayers at this time. Due to current circumstances Thomas’ services will be private. Per CDC guidelines face coverings and social distancing must be observed. Burial at Calvary Cemetery will be private.
