Ralph L. Kett Jr.
Kett, Ralph L., Jr. passed away on December 21, 2022. Beloved son of dearly departed Ralph Sr and Norma (neé Nissen). Loving father to Marcie Cox, Pamela Gantkowski, Ralph III, Maria & Martina Kett, and the late John Kett. Adoring grandfather to his many grandchildren (18!). Brother to John and the late Richard Kett.
Those who knew Ralph knew how much he enjoyed spending time with family & friends. He rarely missed an opportunity to attend a party and regale everyone in attendance with stories. Like his sons, Ralph was an avid sports fan, especially the Philadelphia teams. He always made time to watch games on tv and was a devoted follower of many tv shows.
During his lifetime, Ralph touched the lives of many, whether through his role as an insurance agent, or as a foster father to several foster children and most importantly as a host “Father” to visiting kids from foreign countries, most notably, Malena, Alex, Katia, Toño & Edna. Ralph was also an animal lover, and had countless pets through his life. They were all surely waiting at the rainbow bridge for him. He also leaves behind his bereft cat Tiger. Ralph’s wit & charm will be missed by anyone who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ralph’s viewing Saturday 1/7 St. Genevieve RC Church Flourtown 9 to 10am. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am. Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ralph’s name to Stray Cat Relief Fund by PayPal or regular mail.

It saddens me to hear this. Great guy! I am very sorry for everyone’s loss.
I first met the Kett family when my parent’s, brother and I moved to this country in 1951. Ralph was a wonderful friend to my brother David. I have enjoyed the connection we made on Facebook and through !Messenger. I will miss our back and forth. My heart is with all of his family. .
Mr. Ralph L. Kett Jr. (My American Dad as I called him) was a great person and a great influence on my early years. He gave me tools for life that I appreciate much. He also taught me another perspective on my basketball experience that help me out a lot and I am quite grateful for that. A man of faith who accepted to be my Godfather. He was one of my life teachers.
I send hugs and love to my American family on this difficult moments. My condolences to you and I hope you reach resignation soon.
