Nicholas R. Bond
Bond, Nicholas R. “Nick”, age 18, of Wyndmoor PA passed away on February 6, 2017; beloved son of, Robert and Margaret (nee Detwiler), loving brother to C.J., Derek and Tyler; and beloved grandson to Robert and Patricia Bond, and Charles and Patricia Detwiler along with his aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Nick was beloved member of the Springfield High School community, a member of student council, & true mentor & friend to countless number of people. He was passionate about sports; Nick was the captain of his Wissahickon Skating Club team, Captain of the High School Lacrosse Team, and a High School Varsity Football player. He led by example through sharing his love of sports with younger athletes and mentoring them to help them develop their passion.
Family and friends are invited to gather for Nick’s viewing on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church 120 Allison Road Oreland, PA 19075 and again on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM followed immediately by a mass of Christian Burial at Holy Martyrs, interment following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal. My deepest condolences go out to the Bond family, may you be strengthened and comforted not only with the love that is shared from family and friends but from the gentle hand of God.

I am sorry for your loss. Judging from what I have read about about Nick he was an awesome person. He helped people after his death. He saved 8 lives through the generous donations of his organs. Thank you.
