Louise A. Elterich

Louise Anne Elterich, born November 11, 1948, died on Friday, May 23, 2025, in Abington Hospital.  Louise was the cherished daughter of Charles P. and Margaret V. Elterich.  Louise was the sister to Richard C. of Bethlehem, PA and John P. of Bloomington, IL.  She was a loving aunt to two nieces, three nephews and one great niece.

 

Louise graduated from Wissahickon High School in 1966.  She went on to graduate from Morehead State University in Kentucky.  She taught school in Kentucky for several years. Upon coming back to Ambler, Louise did substitute teaching. Louise then went on to work at Montgomery Publishing Company for many years until her retirement.

 

Louise was an active, involved volunteer in her churches, first at 1^st Presbyterian of Ambler and currently at Calvary Methodist Church in Ambler. At Calvary Louise has been a Sunday School teacher, sang on the Senior Choir, was a member of the 8:30 am Worship Team, and served on many committees.

 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Louise’s life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Calvary Methodist Church, 16 E. Park Ave. Ambler, PA, 19002. A visitation time will begin at 10 am, followed by worship at 11 am in the Nave.  Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
