Julie A. Jensen
Julie A. (Jewel) Jensen passed away suddenly but peacefully at her home in Lansdale, PA on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Julie was born on February 20, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James Israel Jensen and Jewel Dubois Elton Jensen, and was the favorite little sister of James A. Jensen, Carolyn J. Frandsen and Phillip N. Jensen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her dear brother Phil.
Julie was as strong as she was beautiful, as intelligent as she was nurturing, and had enduring love for her family and friends. Her charisma, independence and sense of purpose will live on in the memories of anyone who knew her.
Julie’s accomplished professional career began in earnest at Volvo White, where she ascended through the ranks to National Marketing Manager before turning to the real estate business where, as a Sales Manager for several national home builders, she helped countless people thoughtfully design and build their dream homes. She achieved professional success while at the same time lovingly raising her two children. Julie was beyond proud of Ryan and Brooke and never missed an opportunity to sing their praises.
Julie shifted from her professional career into full-time gramma mode, spending the remainder of her days pouring out love and devotion for all her family, and becoming the world’s greatest youth sports fan. Her fandom for her grandson, Bobby and teammates on his many baseball, basketball and football teams was a joy to behold. Julie’s passion and support always brought great energy to the games.
She is survived by her children, Ryan (Tereena Hill) Roberts and Brooke (Robert) Krandel, her grandchildren, Chase Roberts and Bobby Krandel, her siblings James A. Jensen and Carolyn J. Frandsen, and loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are welcome at Julie’s visitation on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Saint Genevieve RC Church located at 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Church at 10:00 a.m. A private interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia at a later date.
