Jean E. Schlegel
Schlegel, Jean E. (July 10, 2017), Age 91, was born in Philadelphia to George J. and Olive E. (Lewis) Schlegel. Sister of Donald F. and the late William C. Schlegel, she will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, neighbors and dear friends. A retired music teacher with the Abington School District, Jean was a passionate gardener, poet, watercolor artist, singer, and animal lover. Relatives and friends are invited to Jean’s Visitation Saturday 7/15, 10am – Noon at Craft Funeral Home of Erdenheim, 814 Bethlehem Pike. Interment Private. A memorial service will be Saturday 7/29 10am at Oak Lane Presbyterian Church, 6637 N 11th St., Philadelphia, PA 19126. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jean’s name may be made to the Montgomery County (PA) SPCA.
