Coren L. Conti
Coren Louise Conti, born June 14, 1969, was embraced by the arms of Christ on May 9, 2026. Coren (Buffy) was born on the Chalkyitsik tribal reservation in Fairbanks Alaska. This tribe is a branch of the larger Athabascan tribal group. Buffy became a cherished part of the family of Pierre and Beverly Conti at 9 months of age.
Coren attended Germantown Academy in Ft. Washington, PA and Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY where she studied metals and jewelry design. She spent several years in Arizona, making and selling jewelry at craft fairs throughout the southwest. And on-line. She was employed at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, AZ., known as the “Smithsonian of the west”. Coren was also invited to display her jewelry at the annual show at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC, where her name is inscribed on the rotunda wall. Coren was an active member of the Flourtown Presbyterian Church where she served on the Mission Committee.
Coren is survived by her parents, Beverly and Pierre and her sister Janna Conti of Arlington VA.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
