Brian was more than just a great friend—he was a true brother in the water and in life. For 30 years, we shared countless waves, endless laughs, and a deep love for the ocean. His passion for surfing, his family, and his friends was truly inspiring, and his presence made every session, every conversation, and every moment better. Brian was a legend, not just because of his skills in the water but because of the kind of person he was—loyal, kind, and full of life. I’ll miss him more than words can say, but his spirit will always be riding the waves with us. Rest easy, my friend.”
So sorry to hear about this. The summers I spent working construction for Brian gave me some of the best lessons and happiest memories of my life. My condolences to the McGlynn family.
Brian was our neighbor in Beach Haven for the past 9 years. Not a day went by when Brian didn’t have a smile on his face and zest for life. A true example for living everyday to the fullest. God rest his soul and bless Naomi and his daughters. Our neighborhood and the beach will not be the same without Brian. Rest in peace my friend.
Rest in peace Brian. Our neighborhood will not be the same without you.
Brian – terrific guy – our thoughts and prayers
with the family – George and Jamie Evans
Brian was one of the nicest souls I ever met. I’ll always remember his smile. We lost a legend!
So sorry to hear this. The summers I spent working construction for Brian gave me some of the best lessons and happiest memories of my life. My condolences to the McGlynn family.
Brian was the type of guy everybody wanted to hangout with. He was a big man with a caring heart. Every time I was sitting on the bench at the Oak and I saw Brian riding his bike up the street with his big floppy hat on it put a smile on my face. We surfed many waves together, on LBI and one of his favorite spots, Makaha on the west side of Oahu. We are all going to miss you Brian! Aloha my friend, RIP
Brian McMullen was the nicest person I ever met. When Don and I were just starting to go out we happened to be going to the little egg harbor yacht club for a party. As a matter of fact, it was the club opening and Don and Brian were discussing about what weekends you were coming down and discussing how they’re winter was
Remembering all the cat boat races.
Brian, I’m sure you’ve already met Don and he was waiting for you, and I’m sure if both of you have a lot to talk about.
Brian may rest in peace.
You will be greatly missed.
Brian was like a brother to me. I will miss him so much. Brian was a life long friend with a great soul. His zest for life and for adventure will continue with his family and all of us. Rest in peace brother.
So saddened to hear about Brian passing. As long as I’ve known Brian he had an (influentially) positive attitude and always a smile on his face. He was a great guy and will be missed. Condolences to the McGlynn’s, so sorry for your loss…
Naomi, Leah, & Ellie, we are so sorry for your loss and thinking of you all during this difficult time. May Brian rest in peace.
