David taught in the Colonial School District for 35 years. He was a well loved and respected math teacher and coach before his retirement in 2004. Sports were a big part of David’s life. He played ice hockey, softball, volleyball, tennis, and golf until heart failure and poor vision sidelined him.
David’s quiet strength, resilience, and amusing sense of humor will be missed by all of us.

I’m saddened to hear of David’s death. He was a devoted family man and enjoyable person. We were great playmates when we were very little! Condolences to Elaine, Jon, Alicia & family, as well as to Marian.
So sad to hear of the death of our dearest friend David. So happy to have seen him right after Christmas, and been able to make him laugh and enjoy his humor and friendship. All our love and prayers to his beloved family and Elaine especially. We will always remember him with love, laughter and music. I’m sure one of the first things he did was find heaven’s karaoke spot or maybe a video poker machine. Sing and Play on David until we meet again!
