Linda A. Kane

Linda A. Kane (née McGrory) passed away on March 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

 

Linda was the beloved wife of Bernard J. Kane Jr. and a devoted mother to Bridget Mogee, Maura Kane, Erin Kane, and Katie Kane. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Sarah Mancini, Emma Mogee, Maggie Mogee, Jake de la Cruz, Amanda de la Cruz, Joseph Kelly III, Jackson Hollingsworth, and William Hollingsworth, who each brought her immense joy and were truly the light of her life. Linda also deeply cherished her many siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family members, and found great joy in the large and loving family that surrounded her.

 

Linda dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her work as a nurse and to the care of her patients. She had a natural gift for comforting others and was known for the compassion and dedication she brought to her profession. At home, she was just as caring—immensely supportive of her family and always the person you wanted by your side when you weren’t feeling well. Along with her kindness, Linda had a wonderful sense of humor and a warmth that made everyone feel welcome. Her calm, steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her love and guidance will continue to live on through the family she cherished so deeply.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to Linda’s visitation on Thursday, March 12, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Holy Martyrs Church, 120 Allison Rd., Oreland, PA 19075. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda’s name may be made to your local SPCA or Animal Shelter.
