So terribly sorry for your loss! Ellen was a great lady and I have nothing but only the fondest memories of her. May you all remember your mother with happiness in your hearts even as you mourn her loss.
Love you all!

My condolences to the Matus family, my dear neighbors on Ardleigh Street when we were on Durham Street.
Ellen was such a sweet lady and a great mother. My children and hers were very close friends. “Remember the Durham Street Players”
Sending love to all.
May her memory be a Blessing

Mrs Matus was a great woman, a great person over all. We lived in the same street and hanged at her house with her family most of the time and it was always nice; often she would have treats for us and I remember very well, a glass of milk.
Mrs Matus was always kind and always welcome every one and any one to her house and back porched where we hanged; she always kept an eye on the motorcycle boots I used to have and say, “ those Boots”
I know she is resting in the greatest place there is and well deserving, because of who she was and will always be.
