With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ruth Laura Davis (nee Capers) on January 15, 2026.
Beloved wife of the late Charlie Davis. Loving mother to Valerie Davis-Fells, Stacey Davis, and Sonja Dee Taylor. She will also be missed by her 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Relatives and friends are invited to Ruth’s Visitation Tuesday 1/27, 10:00 to 10:30am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 2050 E. Walnut Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19138. There will be a tribute starting at 10:30am. Her mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

To the Family you have my deepest condolences and sincerest sympathies on The Loss of your Mother. Although I don’t know how you feel Ido how it feels to lose Your Mother it’s a pain n hurt that never ends.
