Maura Anne Donofry
Donofry, Maura Anne (nee Jenkins) (January 19, 2026). Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Donofry. Loving mother to Joseph Donofry (late Sheila), James Donofry (Stephanie) and Stephen Donofry (Hiver). She will also be missed by her 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Maura Anne grew up in Chestnut Hill Pennsylvania, one of five siblings. She attended Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School where she was a stellar athlete, playing field hockey.
Maura Anne married the love of her life, Joseph Donofry, on April 19, 1954 and, together, they had three sons. “Mo and Joe”, as they were affectionately called by their family, enjoyed many summers at their shore house in Manahawkin, New Jersey with their three boys, as well as extended family and friends.
In her free time, Mo enjoyed watching golf and her Philadelphia Phillies, but she mostly loved being surrounded by her family, including her seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Maura Anne is survived by her brother, Stephen (late Barbara) and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to Maura Anne’s visitation Friday 1/23, 9 to 10am at St. Genevieve Parish, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am. Interment George Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions in Maura Anne’s name may be made to St. Joseph’s Villa, 110 W Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031.
