James P. “Chelsea” Callaghan

James Patrick (Chelsea) Callaghan passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the age of 69. Chelsea was born on April 30, 1956 to James J. and Hetta Callaghan in Philadelphia, PA. He was the eldest of eight children. He is survived by brothers Joseph, Thomas, Christopher and Terence (Sarah), sisters Dymphna and Patricia, and nieces Teagan and Keira. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kevin. Chelsea was a graduate of Springfield Township High School and Spring Garden College. A friend to many, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Chelsea’s life on Friday, October 3rd, from 2 to 4 at Halligan’s Pub, 1619 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031. Interment Private.
