Olive A. Wight
Wight, Olive A. (nee) Knecht (December 22, 2017) Wife of the late Mahlon B. Wight. Devoted mother of Roger M. (JoAnn), the late John H. and the late Clifford J. Wight. Grandmom of Mitchell M. Wight. Olive was a registered nurse working at Chestnut Hill and Germantown Hospitals and a member of both the Springfield and Ambler Ambulance Corps. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service, Friday, December 29th at 11:00 AM at Craft Funeral Home of Erdenheim, 814 Bethlehem Pike, Erdenheim, PA 19038, where friends may call Friday 10 until 11 AM. Interment St. Thomas’ Whitemarsh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions on Olive’s name may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka KS 66675
Olive has been a dear friend for over fourty years. She was part of the first Paramedic class in Montgomery County. In addiion to that she taught countless people First Aid and CPR along with being a EMT instructor. She was active in both Springfield and Ambler Ambulace.
Of my friend I can only say I will miss her dearly. My Children lost Aunt Olive but her love and caring will be with us forever. She was a close friend that was always there and ready to help.
