Joanne G. Hemberger

Hemberger, Joanne G. (nee Grebe), of The Hill at Whitemarsh in Lafayette Hill, age 96, December 28, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Robert H. Hemberger.

Joanne was the daughter of Melvin and Mable (nee Marple) Grebe; She is survived by her sister Edythe G. Cannon and predeceased by her brother Melvin Grebe Jr.  She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Joanne was an accomplished artist, and a graduate of Moore College of Art.  She was a member and volunteer at the Germantown Historical Society as well as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Interment will be private at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 22 E. Chestnut Hill Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118 at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Joanne’s memory can be sent to The Montgomery County PA SPCA, or the charity of your choice.
