  • “Dear June, and all the family – please accept our deepest sympathy and prayers upon learning of the passing of Harry from this life on to the next. An amazing man, his spirit lives on in the cherished memories held by those who were privileged to know and love him. • “June, Ian, Catriona, Gordon, and the rest of the clan – my heart is so heavy with sadness with your loss of Harry/dad. I thank God that he is no longer suffering, but sad that you are all now suffering. Harry was a kind, compassionate, gentle man with endless knowledge, and his wonderful smile. There are so many wonderful memories of Harry to cherish, and one day, you will be reunited with him. Until then, I know that God has his comforting arms around you all, and may he grant you peace. I feel privileged to have known Harry almost all of my life. All my love, Debbie”

I am so truly sorry to hear about Harry’s passing, he was such an inspiring man and achieved so very much in his life. I still remember fondly meeting up with you both in Ayr to tell tales about my Dad (Michael Braney) & the family (Hugh & Evelyn Braney & Anne Seaton) at the Brig o’Doon House.
You and your family are our our thoughts.

I would like to send my sincere condolences and prayers to Cattiona and her Mom, siblings, husband, children, nieces and nephews. I am an old childhood buddy of Catriona’s and vividly remember hanging out in y’alls basement in South Gbury as a young girl. I fondly remember how safe and peaceful it was to be at the McDonald house and honestly how cool it was that her parents so worldly and educated and intelligent were also some of the kindest people to raise a daughter who was not only super intelligent herself but a kind decent young girl who never saw my color, and never has. A beautiful daughter from beautiful parents. I am so sorry for your loss and offer this comfort that I hold onto having lost my Dad some 20 yrs ago, love never dies. Your memories together never die and I believe “some sweet day we will all be together again.” ( John 3:16). With love Andrea
