David, and Peter – I am so sorry to hear about MaryEllen! Her smile got me though some stressful times at DockBots, and it was always a joy to share her pride in Peter’s accomplishments. She was such a kind and supportive person, I appreciated her so much. I am so, so sorry she left you so early, that will be a huge hole in your hearts. May God heal you over time as only He is able to do.

  • Dear Patty, Peter S, David, Kathleen, and Peter M.,

I have been trying to get back in touch with Mary Ellen for over a year. Our lives had been so busy that we lost touch. I look back and see my best friend from Unionville School. The silly times we had growing up bowling, doing crafts, roller skating and going to the movies. She even went out for the boys softball team with me one Spring when there were no sports available for girls!

Patty, Pete and Mary Ellen were like my siblings. Ellen and John always made me feel at home and it was clear how much they loved each other and their family. They were very fun-loving too. Mary Ellen was always welcome in my family’s home. My brothers and sister are also mourning her loss. She was a truly warm and loving person.

David, Kathleen, and Peter – I am so glad that you had her in your lives and so very glad that she had you in hers. I hope that her love will help you through this difficult time.

I wish I could be there with you. My prayers are there with you. I’d like to learn more about what happened to her and share my fond memories of her. Please contact me via my email provided.

Much love to all of you.
    Cyndy

  • I am so sorry for this tremendous loss. When I think of Mary Ellen I think of the kindness that she showed every person she interacted with and the great times we had as Glenside Elementary moms . My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
