  • Joe always was laughing whenever I saw him. He will be missed. Mo, please put yourself first now and take care of yourself. Call me anytime.
    Love you,

Aunt Mo, Joey, Jimmy and Stephen, and all of the Donofry clan,

We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Joe. I am sure he took a piece of your hearts with him, but I know you must also be experiencing some relief that he is at peace. What wonderful memories we have of Wyndmoor, Oreland, the Poconos and Beach Haven West! I’m so happy he and Dad got to talk earlier this year – two old friends enjoying a few laughs. Wishing you all memories that warm your hearts and bring you smiles as you celebrate his life. Love you all, Deb and Tom Walsh

  • My deepest condolences to Mo, the boys, and the entire family.
I remember his energy to get the job done and the empathy and humor he brought to each project. At the firehouse, I served him while he was Chief and when circumstances made our roles reverse, he served me with the same good humor and respect. Nobody disliked Joe. I’ll remember his laugh forever. Betty and I send our love to all.
