    Sandy and Walt,
So sad to hear about the passing of Aunt Bannie.
She and my mom were life long friends and I have fond memories of all of us in OC.
I last saw and spoke with your mom when I saw her at Springhouse Estates.
She was a neat lady and was always gracious and happy to chat when we would run into each other while I was visiting my dad .

    So sorry for your loss,
    Pat Hitschler Hirsekorn

    Sandy and Walter,
What a loss for all of you and your families. Aunt Bannie was a gem. She had the best smile and laugh. I still hear her saying, “Oh, Pat! Or Oh, Chick.” She was such a good friend to mom and dad and really a sister to Mom. They truly bonded over having lost their moms and living with their grandmother ( and dad for mom). They had many tales about their time at Stevens and the Birthday girls reigned in true fashion. She was so proud of you both. I do remember our times on North Street beach-what a group! She was also a good friend to dad after Mom died. Special neighbors at Springhouse.

Love to you both and sympathy for your loss. May the memories of your blessed time with Aunt Bannie bring a smile.
    Love ya, Barbara

    Dear Sandy and Walt,
No words can make you feel better, but your Mom was a great LADY in all ways. I will miss the trips to the shore with Aunt Bannie and Dad to check on the house and revisit old times. The stories of playing nuecome, quoits and trips to Wards bakery can not be recalled too many times. She was a great lifelong friend to Mom and Dad, we will miss her, but never forget her.
    Love Chucky

    Sandy, Walter, and family,

Most sincere condolences from the Zazzaro’s, Fisher’s and Cooper’s (902 North St, OCNJ) on the loss of Bannie. She was an icon and matriarch on the block and neighborhood as well as a great neighbor and friend. We all miss her!

    Sadly,

  • Dear Walter, Sandy, and family, Our sympathies to all of you on the loss of Bannie. We got to know your mother from North Street at Ocean City. She was always the sweetest lady ever. We loved talking to her from her porch to Pam and Pat’s porch next door at OC. My mom loved sitting on the porch talking with Bannie. My sister Pam, Connie, and Bannie were a trio on North Street. She will be missed. Sincerely Sheryl and Kevin Cooper
