  • Ed was always a fun loving, devoted family man – such wonderful traits he and Jenny passed on to Eddie and Erik. I’m grateful for the many good times together between scouts and baseball. He will be missed by many. Sending our deepest sympathy to Jenny, Eddie, Erik.

  • Thoughts and prayers. Could always count on him being at all of Eddie’s games a “SUPER FAN”. Always a kind word and even a joke or two.
Remember the good times spent together with family and friends.
    Best to evryone.

  • I knew Ed as a colleague in the Philadelphia Police Department and as a friend. He was a highly respected and competent police officer and supervisor. He had initiative and a work ethic expected of those who have chosen public service. As a friend, he was kind, loyal and present for all who needed him. Most importantly, he was a great family man
I know his goodness will be reflected in his loving wife, Jenny, and his devoted sons, Ed and Erik, for years to come. You will all remain in my prayers.

  • Its been several years since our involvement with Scouts and I am so saddened to hear of Ed’s passing. You couldn’t find a nicer man than Ed Nordland. I always enjoyed talking to him and he was always very nice to Garrison. We will keep Jenny, Erik and Eddie in our thoughts and prayers. The Hyde family

  • My heart goes out to Mr. Nordland’s family. We grew to become family over the eight years I knew him; he was a caring, friendly spirit. I will never forget those car rides (the ones I was awake for) when he would talk the confidence back into us after a tough baseball loss. I speak on behalf of the entire Mangum family when I say that he was loved and will be sorely missed.

To the Nordland Family. So sorry and sad to hear of Ed’s passing. I knew him when he was a Police Officer in Roxborough. He would have lunch at me Dad’s store and would always watch over us. We fished together at the Jersy Shore and had great times together. Had not seen him in years as I moved away and got married. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend.
