Andrew J. Watkins

Watkins, Andrew J./ (November 18, 2016) Beloved son of Charles and Jo-Ann (nee Mooney). Loving brother to Mathew C., Scott B. (Samantha), and Colin P. Watkins. Uncle to Caleb and Abby Watkins. Nephew of Maureen Mooney. Andrew graduated from Montgomery County Community College in Liberal Arts. He was an avid sports enthusiast who loved football, golf and basketball especially, and was a skilled athlete himself. His other interests included computer games, Sinatra music and movies. He had an eclectic taste. Andrew’s dream was to one day work for a sports team, in some capacity, get married and have a family of his own. Andrew was very family oriented and loved spending time with his brothers’ and niece and nephew. He was also fortunate to have two close friends he considered brothers who gave him added support and love. He left us too soon, but Andrew knew in his heart that so many loved and cared about him. He is now happy and at peace with our Lord. Relatives and friends are invited to Andrew’s Celebration of life Saturday 12/3 11am Chelten Church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Andrew’s name may be made to Chelten Church “Basketball Fund” 1601 Limekiln Pike, Dresher, PA 19025.
